The dislodging double first base from Champro is designed to reduce potential injury for sliding injuries and allow umpires to make calls as the play progresses. The heavy-duty all rubber pad is strong enough to support a player standing on the base, but flexes and dislodges from the smooth bottom plate as players slide in. Within seconds, the top pad can be reset back onto the bottom plate when the play is complete. The 15″ x 30″ double first base features a white base for fielders and a bright orange base for baserunners to reduce injury from collisions. This base includes a steel double anchor system and 2 base plugs and is compliant with Little League® rule 7.15.
